Shelley Batcules was the PPC Riding Director for Niagara West during the last Federal Election, and provided services and skill sets as a videographer, content-creator, editor, assistant event planner, graphic designer and social media strategist.

Shelley's husband Jim Torma played a key role as a PPC Regional Director working closely along side PPC Leader Maxime Bernier. Together, Jim and Shelley contributed to, and covered national events to develop campaign strategies, expose critical social and political issues, and provide commentary and news on various important subjects. Shelley also painted a portrait of PPC Leader Maxine Bernier that hangs in the PPC Head office in Ottawa, Canada.

Shelley Batcules is the PPO: Populist Party Ontario President and co-founder. Shelley and her husband Jim Torma formed the party after working closely with PPC People's Party of Canada and the leader Maxime Bernier. Following a month long journey at the Trucker Convoy in Ottawa, Jim Torma and Shelley Batcules determined it was important to form a new political party to represent the province of Ontario. Shelley Batcules created and registered the new PPO party, and Jim Torma stepped down as PPC Regional co-ordinator to become the leader of the PPO. The PPO principles are based in what was upheld in the PPC.

As a Canadian artist and content creator, Shelley utilizes her diverse creative skill sets to develop creative campaign strategies and productions for the PPO that includes event planning, social media, videography, editing, animations, copywriting, web, graphic and design.

SHIMJELLY on Fire brands are produced in small batches with fresh tree ripened local produce. Our mission is to produce products that help build a strong local community economy. We maintain a commitment to growing heirloom crop bio dynamically using no chemicals. This allows us to have control over the quality of ingredients in our products from seed to plant to processing to packaging. Customers like the idea we do not use GMO produce. Consumers are educated on the many health benefits inherent in our products and we provide a multitude of recipes for people to experiment with which fit into any budget.

All SHIMJELLY on Fire brands along with all promotional material are created and designed by Shelley Batcules and Jim Torma. Together we conceptualize interesting, exciting new names to reflect each unique recipe and brand. Shelley has an extensive post secondary education in the arts and design field with a specialty in colour theory. Her decades of freelance design experience give her a strong vision of the look and feel of each new label and marketing material campaign relative to it.

Catchy names and custom colour palettes define our products and make them stand apart from other products. We have spent a lot of effort researching marketing impact of our brand labels and how they will stand out from the crowd in a grocery shelf setting.

Customers constantly remark on how they love the names and the colours. People also express their intrigue with the unique suggestive design elements of the SHIMJELLY logo, which emphasizes element of the product as SHIMJELLY is Jim and Shelley in one name focusing on mutual ideas formed into a creative vision and the grass root’s philosophy.
