    The ART of ALOCASIA

The ART of ALOCASIA is inherent in the pattern of a powerful HOUSE PLANT that makes a dynamic statement in every setting.

INVEST in a Hendriks HOUSE PLANT for the holidays, to add a powerful planted statement to your atmosphere, then contemplate the powerful patterns in THE ART OF PLANT LIFE. Talk to your plant, and acknowledge the added opportunity to talk to yourself in the process, then see how this process will stimulate both of you to grow.

Shelley Batcules is a Canadian Artist, digital soldier and Hendriks Greenhouse Operations Support & Planting Supervisor

  • Greenhouse Posts

These Greenhouse Posts were designed and written by Shelley Batcules to positively promote companies that employed her. Posts were developed by her own initiative, and are based on her own personal views, experiences and perspectives.

Over several years, I have been inspired to inject important hours of personal time to implement my diverse business and creative skill sets into social media platforms, with a strategic goal to use my abilities to effectively use fine art, graphic design, film/tv set and residential/commercial interior design experience, sales and marketing strategies, creative copy writing, research-based storytelling, and historical based academic approaches etc. to develop weekly personal goals that promote my places of employment.

I propound it is significantly important to be an active member of a company, to be involved in contributing any powerful ideas/interests that create profitable contributions to the company you work for. After all, common sense says building the business you work for obviously secures the business directly, and also profoundly impacts the future of personal employment security, and protects the financial position of your peers and our dear migrant worker friends who help form our power to produce. The core idea and consideration for success is strong “Community building” through which effective communication can gain strength in a song that turns into strategic systems that forge future growth.

    The Chique of Curcuma

Life is a process and everything in life has a beginning and an end - unfortunately and fortunately this reality includes the weekend… The good news is it just depends how you look at it. On that note, consider creating a container combining Kaizen as a (process) to present the colour of Curcuma (plant). I love the art and irony of language and believe there are no coincidences. On Friday, as the weekend approached, the team objective was to passionately plant 1000 moments of 13 inches of Glory with Curcuma as the Crown which will go into the gardens of those who saved a special place….

On Friday the team Fried it and we reached 1400 (a 259% efficiency increase) and Made the Glorious Grade on Monday to maintain the mark and break all records. Lean and mean, together we as a team topped up efficiency. Meaning for Monday: Kaizen is Culture…so my advice is focus on “the chique” rather than “the clique.” This momentous Monday marked a new week of winds that dissolve the sands of silos, clearing the air for teams to breathe bonded in accomplishment who boldly move toward breaking all boundaries. Harmony hopped over all hurdles, and the hope heaped on higher efficiencies.

Every season sparks new growth and imagination. The “RAT RACE”

The “RAT RACE” is in fashion fighters so rage on resourcefully to remain in first place in 2020. “Go for the GOLD” contenders by quickening wits while questioning a creative course to capture the courage to compete. Consider the Chinese zodiac story of the competition held by the Jade Emperor deciding the order of the zodiac animals. The quick-witted RAT asked the diligent OX to take him on a ride to cross the river and jumped down before the OX crossed the finish line - the RAT won the race to become the first of the zodiac animals.

So, the “Rat in the Race” rivals with rich imagination, sharp observation and a strong sense of self-awareness to click bait on the cliché “Get off my back” to prevent being “pushed to the back of the line,” to brand becoming the “Leader in the pack” by overcoming the OX follower who takes the stage in 2021. The rat wins “the Blue Ribbon” for First place in the zodiac with a zeal to take advantage of a zoo of opportunities by working diligently toward wealth and prosperity.
So, “Get ready, Get set, GO->->-> to COSTCO… Get your good luck in the RAT RACE by going green and manifesting a mindset to make “money grow on trees.”

Look back at 2020 and 2021. Be brave in the knowledge that now, it is the sacred time of Christmas, a moment to silently, and collectively, acknowledge sacrifice, a time to bow and lift your head, a time to show your track record openly on your face, and be fortified by faith to look forward in life, to learn the simple meaning of money, to see a systematized map that serves as a metaphor to represent the meaning of value.

Growth is the true value, and gain filled means to find the end of the rainbow, where you realize it is you that is the GOLD. Money grows on trees when you make a true testament, by talking to yourself truthfully. Be a TIGER in 2022 by being yourself.

    Silent Night

Sometimes it is important to walk rather than ride.

Sometimes it is helpful to just STOP to SEE what is important.

Sometimes growth grabs in the dark to find the light.

Sometimes silence sets up solitude to see the other side.

Sometimes a plant can remind you to water the soil, which is your soul.

Sometimes it is a simple sentiment in solitude, shared with others, that sparks a community spirit.

Shelley Batcules is a Canadian Artist, and hard-core greenhouse operations farm girl with a goal to find ways to inspire people to live, learn and appreciate every moment despite the dark days that can never cover the light. Learn to look up.

    GRINCHMAS

Containment forces consideration to push back on the past personas and people in the present who ruin the pleasure of others who are passionate in pursuing their purpose. Some speculate the solution is to bring the sinner to God, so get stimulated by drinking a cup of “Grinchmas Tea” with a triple shot of tailored temperament and treat with tidings to an everlasting enemy; tempt them to at least try to trust you as their friend then taste the theory that it is this test that brings you power… Did You Know?

When Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, wrote the children's book How the Grinch Stole Christmas in 1957, he probably had no idea that in 20 years "grinch" would enter the general lexicon of English. Like Charles Dickens' Ebenezer Scrooge (whose name has become synonymous with "miser"), the Grinch changes his ways by the story's end, but it's the unreformed character who "hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!" who sticks in our minds. The ill-natured Grinch, with his heart "two sizes too small," provides us with a lively symbol of someone we love to hate, and his name has thus come to refer to any disgruntled grump who ruins the pleasure of others. BOXED IN

During a season that should be special, too often I am surrounded by someone or something that takes measures to make my movements more difficult. The best method to BATTLE being “BOXED IN” is make the most of the malicious by massaging mind’s muscle to become mighty and make the outlook malleable.

Next step: turn the table, flip the box, read all sides from all angles, don’t get “BOXED IN” by regularity of regimented rules and regulations, rather turn irrational ranting and rigid restrictions into righteous actions, cuddle the chest that blooms the birth and remembrance of the day “THE ONE” was born, he who broke all boundaries with bravery to make us remember that which is most important to remember this season…

So sometimes be silent to hear our spirit that will say; being “BOXED IN” is “THE GIFT” that gives us gratitude, an opportunity to get-up-and-go to reach our goalpost… giving us glasses to glean out distractions that “DISGUISE” True Value… So GET UP and GO… drop the helmet and head out goaltenders to get your Hendriks Greenhouses Treasure Chest of Cheer to give Powerful perspective to Happy Holidays and give the gift to someone or something remembered which is most cherished…

    Great Canadian Christmas eh…

RISE UP and Reach the Stars this Season eh Canadians… Climb up “TRUE NORTH” tree tops to take in a Fresh Perspective on the plan to provide three nations and neighbours the founding of their future framework of farming that is fair, just and favourable.

Constitute your right to charter “silently in the night” cheering for the Great Canadian Christmas charge toward ticking off the checkmark on USMCA. “Point-the-setting” toward praying for the planting of positive seeds of success for our fantastic farmers for seasons to come. Focus on Framers who foster fairness in the creation of a common foundation to fix the family affairs that can cause us to fight rather than come together.

Bond “BIG” brothers and “smART” sisters together in a battalion of brightness to blaze beauty into an often-bleak looking brave new world by bolstering up the bottom-line then tie it up tight with three red and white ribbons…topped off with a brilliant blue bow tie to show off our strength in solidarity to secure success…

    JOY in a CAN

Contemplate feeling the idea “Joy can be put in a Can.” Pause in a momentary lapse of reason. Try to unseal a complex question with a conscious can opener. What came 1st: Growth or Gratitude? Talk to your plant about it. This is the best process for minimal judgement. That is where JOY LIVES… and answers are found.

    Kalancho is KING

Sometimes we need simply look back… to the beauty in the flatness of the board game, where players can see each other in one dimension – eye to eye.

Then, the tradition of how we find the king that represents growth - grows. It just requires getting back to smelling, and seeing the sensational sensibility of how life flowers.

Try again… to be still, and sense how you can be stimulated, by surrounding yourself with sensations that stimulate your success…

Put your face in a flower to flourish. Appreciate beauty like a Queen that loves her kalanchoe.

THE ART OF GROWTH

Social Media Post concept, copy and graphic design by Shelley Batcules

Once upon a time… Architecture, was considered “the Queen of the Arts,” until orchids opened up a significant scenery, spectrum of colour, and original landscape to opine over, based on the natural splendour spread out by every petal that speaks in a special way.

Bring the brilliance of this natural structure, complexity and calm grace into every constructed room; regardless of the context, be that personal or professional. Orchids open eyes to a full-bodied way of seeing the true spirit in growth – the micro and the macro. An investment in this intimate experience expands every perspective…

Beauty and growth are profound gifts we must bravely protect.
