The painting Grapevine is an abstract translation of a photograph of a French vineyard, and is intended to be a metaphoric concept of "the grapevine" of communication.

The linear composition of bands, formal scrubbed technique, and subtle colour palette reflect the environment and tools of the wine maker. The attached mini canvas fruits signify the fluidity of messengers - each passing ideas down the lines of communication to form one cohesive landscape.
