Aeon's Key
The title "Aeons Key" serves to reinforce or expand the imagery for the spectator as the word aeon originally meant "life", "vital force" or "being", "generation" or "a period of time", though it tended to be translated as "age" in the sense of "ages", "forever", "timeless" or "for eternity". In the Homer it typically refers to life or lifespan. Aeon's Key explores the hand as the key to touching life using the fingers and fingerprint radial technique as a visual symbolism representing a personal imprint on life. The hand reaches through a radial opening suggesting an opening into multi- dimensional planes filled with organic fluid forms that heighten the sense of touch.
